What makes Batman a Super Hero?

What causes most people to automatically recognize Batman as a super hero? Batman is a very interesting character and is basically two entirely different people. Even though he is not a super human, with his brilliant mind, willpower and technology, people still consider him a super hero. Even though he cannot shoot out lasers from his eyes, his willpower, athleticism and intelligences equals to that or even surmounts their abilities.

The primary reason why the people of Gotham City consider batman a super hero is for the most part, he makes them feel safer than they felt before. The people of Gotham City first relied on the support of the police to protect them from harm. When Batman appeared, at first, they didn’t know what to fabricate of it, but soon they learned that he was trying to his best ability to help Gotham city by eliminating the villains and super villains. In the beginning of his first appearance, Batman was disliked because people thought he was a villain, considering he wore dark clothing and was very serious.

Because of Batman’s tremendous willpower, he has the determination to accomplish anything necessary to help the people of Gotham. For example, once Batman acquired a ring from a super villain that gave him power and because of his infinite willpower, he easily defeated the villain. He could control the power with perfection. This is a dominant reason why batman is considered a super hero. Even without super powers, he can do plenty of things that super heroes can do. For example, Superman can fly and so can Batman, with his jet that’s even water, storm and bullet proof. It may not actually be himself flying, but he still is flying. Batman has an accelerated processing brain that allows him to think and act quickly given the situation.  Batman’s intelligence is extremely significant to his super heroism. If Batman did not have that, he would not be able to conceal his secret identity, which would probably cause him to abandon his role. It would be a very negative effect on not only him, but Gotham City. That vindicates Batman play a very important role to Gotham City as “Super hero”.

Another critical reason why most people generalize Batman as a super hero is because of his costume and physique. If you look back at any comics from Marvel or DC comics, one will notice their extremely, excelled physique. For example, Wonder Woman, her body is excelled for her gender. Her physique, most people would say is “perfect“. The costumes that super heroes wear is very significant to them. It gives people an impression of them and prejudgment of who they are. For example, when Spider Man puts on his outfit, most everyone would automatically presume he is a super hero associated with spiders of some sort. Every time Batman puts on that mask and suit, people presume he is mysterious, dark, but still in the genre of “super hero”.

Batman is not just a hero, but he is a super hero. He may not have super powers, but because of various characteristics, he has the potential of a super hero’s capabilities.  Most people generalize him to those standards because of his intelligence, manly physique, astounding willpower, and super hero outfit. To make up for his inability of super strength or speed, he is very skilled in and exceeds the average person in almost everything. Due to Batman’s desire for justice, determination, skills in various combative styles, he is an exceptionally, superlative super hero.
